Budai Townhip has been famous for its salt fields since they were opened in 1824. With the changes of the times, the salt drying culture once stopped here. The Zhounan Salt Field in the Salty Zone has returned with the sun-drying practice and taken the cultural initiative of “making salt with water, land, wind, light and labors” to deepen the eco-friendly sun-drying wisdom and land ethics.

The work celebrates the salt drying culture in the new era by creating “Myriads of Colors,” the salt ship loaded with the energy of flavors. The colorful salt crystals in the sunlight reflect the multiple flavor spectrums of salt and summon us to set sail for the exploration of taste.
